I am a QA and we were using agile but now we are going to implement KANBAN.

You lead this to be very subjective and we require a little bit more in order to give you a precise answer. I agree with Lyndon... this might be a good question but it needs a bit more information. In my experience, KanBan is a tool that is used in Agile structures, specifically involving SCRUM, user stories, etc. To ask what is the difference between the two is like asking what is the difference between a tool box and a wrench... – TristaanOgre Jun 10 '11 at 13:31

You can do a couple of things to gather more knowledge on this topic:

  1. This link provides some information on Agile testing using Kanban
  2. Talk to your project manager or whoever decided to adopt the new method and ask them to provide more details. It is the part of their responsibility to educate the staff regarding the proposed changed.
  3. Also, searching the internet for the word "Kanban" will provide you a lot of relevant information.
