I want o automate the process of installation of application which is downlaoded and saved in downloads folder in Mac. I thought of using Applescript for the same, we are using Selenium Testing Framework. Pls guide me how to achieve the same using Applescript or any other best ways for Mac.

I am not sure what this question has to to with testing, aside from the reference to Selenium, which is the wrong tool for the job. – user246 Sep 7 '12 at 12:44
Welcome to SQA, Madhusudhan. There's a couple small issues with this question. The first, as 246 pointed out, is that this really doesn't have anything to do with testing. So my first instinct is to send it to the apple stackexchange site. After talking with them, they've told me that this would likely be closed there due to what we call 'lack of research effort'. In other words, it isn't clear what you've attempted in terms of solving the problem. So I would suggest you do some googling on it, try to translate your selenium script into applescript, and then ask specific questions about that. – corsiKa♦ Sep 7 '12 at 16:28
