I have one Device (Pandaboard) which supports HDMI In&Out and installed Android JellyBean O.S. and Supporting Video quality is 1080p 48 fps

Question is how do I compare Two HD Videos with different sources

Video-1: Which is the HDMI OutPut of device ( In tern Set-top box is connected to Device)

Video-2: Which direct output of Set-top-box.

As per my R&D through VLC player we can capture the 1080p video, it capture supports only PAL 625 lines 720 x 576, 25 fps interleaved

Can anyone suggest to Capture videos from both sources and compare Picture Quality of them. Or any Documentation or Tool available for this.
