She has only done user acceptance testing prior to this new role (all of which I explained in my original, pre-edited, Programmers post before I got smacked down by a mod and a couple users over there). |

Need to make WatiN work for us, or need to find a different tool Category 1, except scratch out "team" and replace it with "tester." We need the tester to be able to handle the tests right now, for the most part, and she's not a programmer. If the site worked in Firefox, I'd recommend Selenium for sure. But, it doesn't, and the business specification says IE-only. I'm not saying that I agree entirely with that decision, but I'm fairly new here and do not get to change that factor at this point. |

Need to make WatiN work for us, or need to find a different tool Selenium is typically my tool of choice for this kind of thing. The only reason I'm looking at other options is that the site is IE-only. It seriously doesn't even work in Firefox -- I tried. Definitely +1 for the blog post, though. |
