What are the things to care for while choosing an automation testing tool? I would put extensibility higher up, as it allows you to add any of the higher features if they're missing, but otherwise I would say this matched my list perfectly |

Tools for tracking automated tests @rishimaharaj indeed this was my question - what tools are there that do this, and only if there is nothing suitable, tips on rolling my own. |

What are the best practices for error seeding @Dez these are valuable points - not applicable for me current situation, as this is already mitigated, however I think it would be useful to add this as either a comment on the question, where it is more likely to receive attention, or as an answer if you could flesh it out a little more - I know you'd get an up-vote from me ;) |

What are the best practices for error seeding The software in question in a flash application, where it would not be difficult to insert the odd non-fatal stack trace, or a few out of alignment resources and off-by-one counts - similar to the sort of bugs that are common. |

What are the best practices for error seeding The project goal of this would be to determine whether we were getting enough out of our outsourcing that it was justified as a cheaper and more flexible option than hiring more internal resource. The developers may well have the attitude that they're trying to trip up the outsourced testers, however the same process would be used by internally QA'd projects, and testers are often not assigned until the work is ready for test (there will be both internal and external commitment on the project). |
