comment About QA title/Position
@HelpingHands You can call yourself whatever you want. If you do a lot of mobile testing, using the term Mobile in your job title might help you down the road to be hired in another or similar position.

comment Where to find Beta-Testers
Do you want people who will beta test your app or are you looking for testers who will test your app in a beta cycle? (The difference being skill level)

In general it depends on the skills of the people, the way roles are defined in your organization and the organizations objectives.

comment Test Automation Engineer, no record-playback?
I use Ruby with Selenium. There are lots of free sources for learning Ruby like learncodethehardway.org/ruby, CodeCademy, etc. Also check out the Selenium Bootcamp: saucelabs.com/resources/selenium-bootcamp/chapter-1-get-started

comment Can someone clear-out these job posts for me once and for all?
It's also about creating custom solutions to the custom problems you have. Not every testing problem will be addressable by a vendor tool.

@djangofan What evidence do you have that /most/ people use an ISO standard? Do you have /any/ evidence or observations that even a few people or testers use it?

comment Best documentation to start with before starting Automation
@user6336 I suggest you do the minimum necessary to explain things, only because you run the risk of being detailed in the wrong way / leaving out necessary information. That is of course the inherent problem in heavily scripted text - there's always something missing (it's the curse of knowledge).
