comment Leadership/Management versus Technical Roles
This question sort of reminds me of this article by a developer at Spotify about how the career ladder is designed to getting people out of Technical roles and into Management roles - as if that's the only / best option: hakkalabs.co/articles/climbing-cto-ladder-fall-2

comment Comparing the term “Build Verification Testing” with “System Testing”
How can communication be successful without placing an emphasis on terminology (if terminology doesn't matter)? Yes coming to an understanding is important but that usually means settling on a definition among team members.

comment Can every test be done by automation?
Pointless? What about exploratory test automation? I think it's valuable. FYI: kaner.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/…

comment Blended testing strategy in agile. Is it really possible to do efficiently?
@user970696 What book are you referring to? In risk-based testing you don't /have to have a spec or requirement doc/ but if you have one it might be useful information that effects our view of risk. I could see many ways to use a requirement document in this blended approach and that's why I don't understand your logic. Also it is possible for the authors to be wrong - ever consider that? Why are you so focused on explicitly testing requirements?

@user970696 verification of requirements can be a crucial aspect but it's not the only thing and it's usually not the most important. In my experience those who focus primarily on requirements don't have a lot of experience in testing.
