revised How can I create a bug report
the author is clearly talking about writing bug reports but the title and some of the text said "manual report" which doesn't make sense.

@SJRose Glad I could help. If you feel one of these answers does in fact answer your question you can mark it by using the check mark next to the votes.

comment Is it possible to covert telerik test studio tests to selenium?
How did you write the tests in Test Studio? Coded using C# or using their record feature?

Firefox has a built-in responsive design tool (tools > web developer > responsive design tool) and so does Chrome (in the developer tools).

comment Is there a good mature SaaS development checklist?
Building (or adding to) your own checklist is probably the best solution since it will be customized to meet your needs. If you have a blog it may not be a bad thing to publish the more general items for others to see and get ideas from.

I think the ability (skill) to do internet research well is something broadly useful to most disciplines - not just testing. I also think it's important to write about the solutions to problems you find in case someone else has the same problem.

No one is ranting - I'm merely stating an opposition to your use of the word. I think what you have written proposes a narrow view of testing and maybe an overly-broad view of someone's impact on ensuring quality. That's fine, we disagree.

I disagree with your use of "please avoid the term 'tester', especially in interviews". That's how I self-identify and I think it's a more accurate term.

Do you use the Heuristic Test Strategy Model (satisfice.com/tools/htsm.pdf) when designing tests? Is that in your curriculum?

There's no age requirement and you can never have too much experience. Does your company provide promotions and salary increases with certifications? Have you asked them?

Hi Ishan, exploratory testing is not a "type" of testing - it's not a technique it's an approach and those two differences are important.
