comment Should you close old bugs?
Besides agreeing with Edu's answer, I would also posit that you need to check if all of the issues you are finding are actually bugs or not. It might be that some of the edge case bugs are now non-issue bugs since the specs have changed. In the end, the person who is responsible for accepting the software from you is the person who can make that judgement call. They may decide to keep these issues in the backlog for awhile, in which case be prepared to go over this list again in the future.
