comment Is QC effective for QA teams that write their own test automation solutions?
@Ikaso, I'm confused. You're searching for software for: (a) test execution automation, (b) automation of test result reporting, (c) managing testing iterations, (d) traceability between requirements and tests? or something else? Could you then update your question to make it more focused?

Before anyone closes as off-topic, I would love to hear whether @KevinM could look for an answer on such topic? What are relevant on-topic places/fora on the Web to ask this question?

comment Software Testing as a career path? Becoming a test architect
I've just read a chapter on testing whether random number generator is giving random numbers and I don't think this is something everybody could do. What kind of apps have you tested so far? Have you considered white box testing? Have you tried integration testing? Any of them give you interesting insight about the complexity of the application.

Ok. HTMLs are not always correct XML documents, so it may be hard to use XML tools. You better stay with Selenium trying to play with expression. Whenever you got "Element not found" error look into the HTML document and see why.

Strange. It tried XPaths at xpathtester.com and xpath.online-toolz.com/tools/xpath-editor.php over your document. I had to fix your document first: remove unknown namespaces ext:, close unclosed img tags, and remove tags in the end that do not have corresponding opening tags (your document is incomplete). You may want to play with the sites I listed.

BTW: 1) your HTML is incomplete, it is missing opening HTML and BODY tags. 2) //html will work but makes no sense, as html appears always as a root element in HTML document, so use /html.
