comment How do I verify a Link URL using Selenium Webdriver / TestNG?
@Tscott Actually, you can't do it with Selenium/TestNG only, you need some HTTP proxy library: see the updated answer. I haven't tried the solution but it still can be a good starting point.

comment What are the advantages of web driver over selenium RC?
Looks like WebDriver is ideal and has no downsides, which isn't true according to stackoverflow.com/questions/9781940/…

I was thinking why a similar question stackoverflow.com/questions/9781940/… has been voted much higher than this and now I see. The other demonstrates some knowledge and experience shared.

comment Evaluating severity of a defect of a reset button
Did your team decided which severity means what? The meaning may vary from one company to another. See sqa.stackexchange.com/questions/7531/… for more.

comment Evaluating severity of a defect of a reset button
Priority is not something testers usually set but rather stakeholders. It says how urgently the fix must be applied. The decision is made based on multiple factors, severity included, but also time and resources required and available to fix, ROI, etc. See: sqa.stackexchange.com/questions/7535/…

Are you using JMeter for functional tests? Or you're using JMeter API from tests written in Java and with TestNG library?
