In one life, I am Robert Munteanu, software engineer for a respectable software company. I write clean Java code, I maintain application builds ... help my colleagues discover bugs with automated analysis tools. Should end-to-end tests be self-contained? I do not need or want to do this but I don't currently have a way of resetting the database. And basically that would also mean restarting the application since caches and sessions would need to be invalidated as well, and that would get messy soon. |
