What factors should affect the ratio of QA/Test staff vs. App Developers +1 for noting that QA is part of a risk/reward decision. Where it is appropriate or acceptable to have a higher risk of defects, less QA may be OK; conversely, if that risk is not acceptable, it will move you toward a lower ratio of dev:qa. |

Accessibility Testing - Should it be considered functional testing or non functional testing? If the site is not accessible to someone, its functionality is worthless to them, so I would argue that it is functional. |

What additional benefits does an QA /Developer engineer bring to a project +1 for the boredom hueristic concept. In addition to automated testing, a developer/tester is more likely to see the opportunities to build helper tools -- a javascript favelet to reveal hidden information on a web page, or a SQL script to help validate back-end data. |
