Tracking defect time to fix I go to daily standups for the team I am on and then another that involves all teams (Around 12). I really don't know why they are focusing on the age of defects right now, it seems to make more sense to focus on defects that are holding up a release. |

Tracking defect time to fix they aren't really penalized or rewarded, but they can be bothered based off of those statistics. So they know if they leave it in a new status that they will have a longer time to investigate the issue before someone starts asking about it |

Analysis of test steps in HP ALM I'm posting another question about finding defects within the ALM database, please check it out if you get a chance. |

Analysis of test steps in HP ALM Yeah I tried to +1 your answer a while ago, but it says I need a reputation of 15 first. Still waiting on my access to go through, they made me explain my business case and everything. Apparently they have had people crash the ALM server by writing bad looping SQL queries in the past. |

Analysis of test steps in HP ALM This is an excellent reply, thanks a lot. I am pretty handy with VBA (from my .NET background) so I am excited to dive into this. However, when I tried to start a new excel graph the link is not active. Do you know if this has to do with permissions or an upgraded version of ALM? I will have to get online with our help desk to try and figure it out. |
