Best free (or very cheap) automation tool for Windows GUI testing? Looks interesting, I'm giving it a try in the next days. Thank you. |

When should I start doing performance testing of a web-app? Customers didn't complain directly about performance, but some other problems they encountered and complained about are performance-related. |

When should I start doing performance testing of a web-app? I'll have hands-on an end-to-end setup. My question is summarized in: better to start immediately (when the web app is "young" and can change very quickly) or wait when the app is more defined? |

When should I start doing performance testing of a web-app? Working on "perceived performance" is a nice idea in many situations, I didn't think about that! I'll propose this suggestion, thank you! |

What are strong points of RFT comparing to other test management tools? I do not know if Simplified Scripting is enabled for .NET, but this is the guide for disabling it: www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21405134 |

RFT - very slow to add objects No, RFT records the tree structure of the page, using the browser as the root object. But you can dynamically get objects using the find() method, more details here: ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/06/0711_nowacki_nodwell |

What are strong points of RFT comparing to other test management tools? Wich OS/Java version are you using? Did you disable the Simplified Scripting? RFT isn't fast, but 5 minutes sounds too much to me. |
