Does anyone know of an automation tool that will perform actions on sending or receiving of an email? @SamWoods Yes I am considering using an account like gmail to send the automated emails. I don't need to to be from a specific domain. I am trying to send automated emails (several times a day) to 15+ instances of a web application, then after a to be determined period of time expect a response email. Basically testing that the applications can send and receive emails multiple times a day. On a failure I would need a notification (email, text, ...) |

Why do I want to use Rake in Selenium Webdriver tests? Thanks, I just assumed that they were intended just to build software. I would like to have a more flexible environment to run tests (compared to running them in test::unit). I asked this question not because someone I worked with someone who recommended it but because I have read a lot about people using tools like this. It was just not explained very well exactly what they were accomplishing by using them. |
