@KatePaulk These tests are meant to be independent of each other, but there are dependencies in the data (data type 2 depends on data type 1, which are both data I'll need to specify for a test). It looks like I have a lot of dependencies, as you mention.

@PhilKirkham Automating at the GUI level can have benefits, particularly in regression testing or acceptance testing. I wouldn't say to do no automated GUI testing.
