What kind of testing should a developer do before passing a build to the QA team? It seems like the sort of person who answers "Yes" to that question is the wrong sort of person to be a software developer. I'd never be able to do the amount of testing that an entire QA team can get done. I do testing before I pass it off, yes, but I wouldn't dream of sending it to production before it goes through more rigorous testing. |
