comment Selenium test case fails due to page load time
This is the best answer IMO, except you should wait for a certain date (i.e not + 60 seconds) rather than 60 counts as mentioned, and you could refactor this to a method to take the By selector and any root element or default to the driver to be able to use it as an extension method on IWebDriver or IWebElement so your driver always tries waiting for any element it accessed to be visible.

comment How to select category from Ebay dropdown list?
@JohnP15 yeah personally I'd select the drop down option by the containing text, like suggested in helping hands' answer. You can use the select class for this, it's specifically for working with drop down menus :)

comment Testing REST API with SHA1 HMAC authentication
@Aldekein that's because your use case is very specific and SoapUI is a framework and not a language. SoapUI can make use of groovy scripting to set properties, which is where you would be able to create your sha1 hash. Hope that helps.

comment Testing pdf/excel content with C#
No worries like I mentioned, the office interop libraries should be fine for reading office files, and I have heard good things about the PdfSharp.Net library for inspecting PDF files. Hope that helps

comment Tools for testing iPhone apps
Whilst I have not used it for testing iDevice specifically, the Test Studio for web and WPF applications which I have used is very user friendly but also offers a good degree of control should you need it, offering a powerful set of testing tools.
