I have 20 years experience in a wide variety of technical and business environments, mostly in an operations and administration capacity, but I have done scripting and development work in C, Java, Rexx, Perl, PHP, Prolog, Python, and VBScript.

My favorite operating system is Ubuntu! :)

You're quite right. I was searching for the wrong things. Thanks for pointing this out.

comment Any way to automate Flash/SilverLight file upload testing?
If you're still looking, AutoIT might be an option: autoitscript.com/site/autoit I've used it in conjunction with WebDriver to automate manipulating a file dialog that's actually generated by a flash utility embedded in a website I'm testing.

Ok, this worked perfectly. A couple things I had to make sure I was doing right: 1> "shutDownSeleniumServer" starts with a LOWER-CASE "s". 2> I had to remove the conditional in DisposeOfSeleniumServer(), that was checking to make sure seleniumServer was NOT null. I wonder if there's an attribute I could be looking at instead of just the object itself. Anyway, thanks for the help!

comment Whether to choose Selenium over Watir or Lightweight Test Automation when testing web applications created using c sharp?
If you're using Selenium 2, it's a moot point, because the IDE generates Selenium 1 code. But I agree that, if you're using RC, it can be helpful as a reference/teaching tool. However, I wouldn't rely on it for my finished product, because the output isn't very idiomatic.
