comment When we use adhoc testing? Which model is used for this…?
Hi Mahesh. I'm not sure this question is currently in a state that we can truly answer. What is the goal you're trying to accomplish? What is the background for the question (what prompted it)? I think this needs more information before it can be truly helpful to both you and future visitors.

comment How to test a toaster? (interview question)
+1 for a requirements-first strategy. The interviewer might say "everyone knows the requirements of a toaster" but things aren't tested for the sake of being tested. You test, you get a result, and you compare that result against a known requirement. Even exploratory testing, eventually, has to make its way back to a set of known requirements to be very useful. (Barring the obvious, toaster starts nuclear war, probably an error condition you want to avoid...)

comment how to pick a date from a calendar?
Gaurav, I'm noticing you're getting a lot of negative review over this answer. I think that's because we prefer answers to stand alone, i.e. not solely supported by an external link. Would you be able to get the relevant sections from your link and put it here, while leaving the link to allow future visitors to get more information than is strictly necessary to answer the question if that want to do more research? Thanks!

comment Send testng report through email after test execution
@razizcool4all there's a Jenkins plugin for mailer, you would just add the mailer option to the end of the job.

comment Generic Automation Framework
Hmm.. I'm trying to think of any, any script you could write that, short of literally implementing human AI, could test (in an automated fashion) all of Amazon.com, tcgplayer.com, and my wife's online furniture store. They're three sites on three platforms. You might be able to come up with manual test scripts but when it comes to being automated? For any e-commerce website? I just don't see how it's possible.

comment Generic Automation Framework
The phrase "I have to make a generic automation framework" is a very vague and mysterious statement. Can you focus more about your requirements and motivations? That will help guide an answer that more specifically answers your question.

comment What are some good software QA community websites?
I am unable to find any such link. I think "full forum" is a bit of a stretch considering the activity I saw there. Also interesting is the tagline "world's largest QA & testing community", which could really use a citation...

That's fine, there's never a bad time for a great answer. The question is - is this a great answer? I feel like it could use more love before it's a great answer. =)
