The Semantics of MD5 being a Hash is beyond the scope of the question and the post mentions there is no way to correctly 'decrypt' an MD5 hash. Upvoted because of the suggestion for the dictionary. Using test specific accounts will be the best option IMO.

comment New to testing - need direction
To me, that is a chicken or the egg type of dilemma. The issue I primarily had when starting in QA was that I did not understand my utilities as well as I would have liked. Not to mention, having experience with tools looks better on a resume than having an understanding of testing. Of course both to some degree are required and the understanding of concepts is more important but I believe that the concepts are something you learn as you grow in QA and the tools are something you just have to become familiar with.

Peter, While using CSS and HTML may be quite rare, knowing it is a big plus since a lot of testing will be web based and will help out when attempting to either automate or find the root cause for a defect. The rest of your statement I do completely agree with though.

comment Where should I look to find Testing and QA talents?
Dice.com tends to have some decent talent. There is several linkedIn groups dedicated to QA as well that might be a good resource for you. If you don't mind, where is the position located at? A lot of the people here (myself included) match the profile you are looking for.

Yes, you can. Your selenium scripts are built into a Java program that can use any Java code you feel you need in order to achieve your test results. Just create functions and assertions that utilize database calls instead of selenium for those checks.

comment Selenium training in C# or Java
Vik, Kate would be extremely accurate with her assessment here. The best option is typically to choose the language that your development team utilizes that way the company as a whole can understand and utilize the utility that is being used. This prevents hit by a bus and makes the utility something easier to utilize and maintain long term, even after you are not longer with the company. If you are looking for generic training, I would suggest Java since you would also be learning Java's syntax and have a better resume.

comment In WebDriver I need to locate a text that's sibling to a tag
/div/input/preceding-sibling::[2] Your question is vague but this might lead you in the right direction
