What should you look for in a testing manager? I think your first point is one of the most crucial, all other leadership skills are quite common good for team managers. But imho for a testing team it is really crucial the manager has been a tester him/herself some time in the past. The discipline is underrated and uncared for enough as is. |

What is the difference between sanity and smoke testing? I've also seen the following distinction: Smoke indicates a build is sound, Sanity indicates a testbed is sound. |
