Unable to run standalone test script in Selenium with Python I actually solved this, it is definitely a proxy problem- I was using Windows, and I needed to define the proxy in the OS-wide settings, not just the browser. |

Is there any full Python webdriver API documentation? Previously, I found nothing helpful so just used a combination of the Java documentation, web examples and built-in docstrings to try and work it out; but thanks for pointing this out, it's the most comprehensive documentation I've seen yet. |

Testing a live and staging site with Selenium IDE On reflection this kind of thing is best done in a standalone script. Selenium IDE can't do this kind of thing. |

What's the difference between Selenium IDE, RC, 2, and WebDriver? Good to hear, I was just looking to see if I'd go anything wrong. Well, I'm a bit confused about the relationship between the Selenese test cases and a full blown script in WebDriver. Is the Selenese a kind of IDE-only "binding" that references parts of the full WebDriver API? |
