+1 for software testing club, everyone should also look at their publication 'Testing Planet' for some great articles thetestingplanet.com (am currently writing my first article for them)

Good suggestions if this does become a community wiki but just as a side note these were the first 2 blogs I actually mentioned in my question ;)

I started a new question over at (sqa.stackexchange.com/questions/296/alternatives-to-iseb) to discuss this so the comments don't get to out of control

Its difficult to say. I guess because all our dev's are doing Microsoft Partnership work they felt that the Testers should have some sort of certification as well. Like I said previously ive only been doing this for 6 months (with no previous experience testing) and while I agree much of the ISEB is trivial at best I dare say it has refreshed my mind to at least a couple of definitions if nothing else. The move to a more Agile approach was actually something that has only recently happened (last couple of months) so it is still in the process of being full adopted.

I am indeed working in an Agile environment, thanks for pointing that out .. exactly the sort of tips I'm looking for :)

comment 1.5 Million lines of code. 0 tests. Where should we start?
I don't get the luxury of spec's here either. Am currently trying to write a set myself and pass them back to the customers to ensure we are doing to the right thing ... seems a little backwards doesn't it.

Sound advice Rob; most of which I'm already following, being fresh out of uni so most of this revision stuff is still in my head. I suppose I am really interested in people that have already done it and any surprises they might have come across along the way.
