    Does the driver object still exist when the code enters the teardown method? If it doesn't, then driver.quit() will throw a null pointer exception. – Kate Paulk Mar 22 '18 at 14:04

  1. Simply use @BeforeTest & @AfterTest instead of @BeforeMethod and @AfterMethod.

  2. Launch URL before pageLoadTimeout and implicitlyWait.

  3. Make sure you have added double '//' in your driver path.
